Tasting Notes

A blend from two highly-esteemed vineyards on Red Mountain, Klipsun and Ciel du Cheval. Wine made from these two vineyards compliment one another; Klipsun Merlot has incredible Bing Cherry flavors and fine tannins while Ciel du Cheval Merlot reveals great acidity and offers the finish we strive for; long and flavorful. The 2014 Red Mountain Merlot was aged eighteen months on French oak (50% new, 50% once used) giving the wine its creamy texture and hints of vanilla on the finish. Enjoy!
