Tasting Notes

This is the first Cabernet Sauvignon we have made from 100% fruit from our estate vineyard. We planted three different clones of Cab back in 2007; clones 6, 8, and 32. Clone 6 is a “low-yield” Cab that develops highly concentrated flavors. Clone 6 Cab makes up the majority of JM’s 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon. Juicy with fine tannins, the 2016 Margaret’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is drinkable now but can age for ten or more years with excellent results.
