Tasting Notes

This is a classic Bordeaux style blend John has put together with 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 23% Petit Verdot and 15% Cabernet Franc. This year’s blend is John’s favorite Margaret’s of all time! The flavors and aromas are complex, full of spice, dark fruits and delicious oak notes from the new French oak barrels. The wine was aged in 75% new French oak for twenty-four months. Once again it is a wine that is very drinkable now but will likely peak in five to seven years. If you like to age our wines, we believe this will be good for 10+ years. Cheers!
