Tasting Notes

2018 was the first vintage we produced a wine with 100% Cabernet Franc from Champoux Vineyard. This wine developed flavors reminiscent of Cabernet Franc from Bordeaux and the Loire Valley of France prompting John to showcase the beauty of this varietal on its own. With red fruit characters and a subtle hint of jalapeno, you’ll be amazed at how easy this wine drinks. The wine was aged in 70% new French oak for twenty two months. Champoux Vineyard is recognized as one of the top vineyards in Washington State. Only 186 cases of this wine were produced so this will most likely be sold out at release (wine club only). Enjoy!
