2019 Champoux Vineyard Right Bank
Tasting Notes
Smooth. A blend of predominantly Merlot and a bit less Cabernet Franc, both varietals were sourced from Champoux Vineyard, considered one of the top vineyards in the state. The aromas and flavors reveal deep, dark cherry with a hint of pepper. The vines that grew this beautiful fruit were planted in 1998, the same year JM Cellars was founded. Twenty four year old vines can produce some amazing fruit; this vintage of Champoux Vineyard Right Bank highlights how good it can be. 67% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Franc; less than 60 cases remain after allocation.
