Tasting Notes

Each year John makes a “Provence” style Rosé featuring the Cinsault grape, a dark purple, large (like small plums) varietal featuring very thin skins. This wine serves as our annual reminder that Spring and Summer are just around the corner!

Once again our rosé is made from Cinsault grapes sourced from The Benches (Wallula Gap) vineyard, the most picturesque vineyard in WA and a source vineyard for many of the top wineries in the state. Emulating a provence-style rosé, this vintage, like previous vintages, was produced with John's Grandmother's Strawberry-Rhubarb pie in mind. Featuring crisp, fruity aromas and flavors, this wine also contains small percentages of Grenache & Syrah lending to the wine's vibrant color and balanced finish.
