2021 Sauvignon Blanc (Red Mtn)
Tasting Notes
Our Sauv Blanc, affectionately referred to by John as "summer in a bottle", has featured fruit sourced from Quintessence Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA for the last several years which always produces a beautiful, balanced and delightfully refreshing wine. The 2021 vintage remains true to its predeccesors with 79% Sauvignon Blanc from Quintessence and 21% Semillon from Artz Vineyard, also of Red Mountain.
Featuring flavors and aromas of tropical and pome fruits like papaya and pear and a soft, lush texture from the addition of the Semillon this very versatile wine can (& should!) be paired with anything summery - the neighbor's BBQ, brunch on a boat or a casual evening with friends on the porch. Cheers!
