Tasting Notes
Named in honor of John’s Mother, Louisa is 100% Merlot from our estate vineyard in Walla Walla. The predominant flavor and aromas of cherry and oak spice make this a crowd pleaser. 50% of the wine was aged in new oak and 50% was aged in used oak for 18 months and then blended together.
For their final years, John’s Mom, Louise, and Dad, Jack, lived on the top floor of the Bramble Bump house in Woodinville. They both helped make JM Cellars a true family winery. Drink now, or hold for 7-10 years. Cheers!
