Tasting Notes
If you have visited our Maltby tasting room, chances are you’ve seen our amazing concrete “egg” and maybe even had a sample of wine pulled directly from this unique vessel by John himself.
The 2024 Concrete Chardonnay from Stillwater Creek Vineyard was fermented and aged in our concrete egg where it maintained fresh acidity while developing a delicate body and smooth finish. Flavors of sweet pear, juicy citrus and soft florals create a Chardonnay that is refreshing to the palate.
Enjoy cuisine that matches the Chardonnay’s texture and intensity such as light seafood dishes, creamy pastas, and soft cheeses like gouda, goat cheese and brie.
