Nietos is a loving tribute to our enduring friendship and partnership with Mike and Jackie Bezos. We remain grateful to them for their generosity and guidance over the years. Our Nietos, Spanish for “grandchildren”, honors their family with a number “11” on the label, representing their beloved grandchildren.
A blend of 50% Syrah from Stillwater Creek Vineyard and 50% Mourvèdre from Shaw Ridge Vineyard, the 2023 Nietos expresses vibrant red fruit flavors of cherry and spiced cranberry with just the right amount of black pepper. Fresh acidity and minerality are expressions of the unapologetically wild growing conditions of higher altitude vineyards.
