Tasting Notes

A loving tribute to John’s mother, the 2023 Louisa features Margaret’s Vineyard Merlot and Cabernet Franc.  Louise loved Merlot and thought every wine John made was his best wine yet. Cabernet Franc balances rich fruit with a white pepper spice creating a layered and memorable experience. Merlot brings delicate floral aromas and flavors of black cherry and plum. Smooth tannins add complexity and ageability. Pair with grilled meats, herb roasted poultry, and stuffed green peppers.
