Summer Kickoff with Surrell

Kick off summer with us at JM Cellars at The Vault in Maltby for an evening of wine, food, music, and celebration on Friday, June 26 from 6-8pm.

This lively, mix-and-mingle style event will feature curated food and wine stations throughout the cellar, giving guests the opportunity to sip, snack, wander, and gather with friends while discovering fresh summer pairing inspiration for the season ahead.

Enjoy a delicious assortment of seasonal bites from newly nominated James Beard Award finalist Chef Aaron Tekulve of Surrell Seattle, including seasonal pizzas, curated small dishes, and fresh ingredients sourced from local farms, ranchers, and fishermen. The menu will be thoughtfully paired alongside the debut of three exciting new JM releases: Summer Bubbles Volume II, 2023 Bramble Bump GSM, and the highly anticipated 2025 Vermentino. Additional JM favorites will be flowing throughout the evening as well!

Live acoustic music from Robbie Egelstad will set the tone for a relaxed and festive summer evening, while winemaker and owner(s) John and Peggy Bigelow mingle alongside guests to celebrate the start of another beautiful season at JM.

Throw on your favorite summer outfit, linen set, sundress, or yes, even your best Tommy Bahama button-up! This is a casual, joyful kickoff to the season ahead and we can’t wait to celebrate summer with you.
