Tasting Notes
Mourvèdre grown at the top of Red Mountain on Shaw Ridge Vineyard is the source for our first Summer Friends Rosé. The fruit was picked at ideal ripeness and pressed after twelve hours of skin contact in order to achieve a rosé with a natural salmon-pink hue, bright acidity, and fresh aromas and flavors of watermelon and strawberry fruit. Summer Friends Rosé is a refreshing accompaniment to seasonal fare- fish tacos, pasta salads, and picnic cuisine. Patio season is elevated with this rosé that is sure to be a crowd pleaser and delightful addition to any gathering from intimate to grand in scale. The Summer Friends label supports our commitment to providing opportunity for foreign cellar crew during harvest season.
