The 2021 Tre Fanciulli is a really special wine. Composed of 100% Red Mountain fruit (the Cab Sauv hails from Shaw Vineyards and the Merlot and Syrah from Ciel du Cheval & Quintessence Vineyards), this premium red blend shows aromas of vanilla and cherry, a deep ruby color and features an incredible dark fruit core, a savory richness and a beautiful, long-lasting finish.

 

An Italian expression meaning “three treasured boys”, Tre Fanciulli is aptly named in honor of John and Peggy’s three sons – Jack, Tommy & Joe – and each son represents a grape variety in the blend. The 2021 vintage is 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, and 17% Syrah and is so remarkable we expect it to score well when submitted for rating in 2024. Cin Cin!
