2019 Syrah (Boushey Vineyard)
Tasting Notes
Boushey Vineyard Syrah has been one of JM’s flagship wines and a fan-favorite for the past 12 years. Consistently scoring 94 points with international wine critics, this year’s vintage features delicious core flavors and aromas of wild blackberry and bacon. Foot stomped, then fermented in French Oak tanks, we aged this wine for 18 months in 70% new oak (50% French, 50% Russian) and 30% once used oak. We exclusively source clone 174 from Boushey Vineyard whose origins are Hermitage in the Rhône Valley of France. Enjoy this big, delicious wine with bold, savory dishes. Santé!
