2019 Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes
Margaret’s Vineyard, JM’s estate vineyard in the Seven Hills area 1,200 feet above the Rocks District in Oregon, is producing exceptional Cabernet Franc. This vintage shows intense, dark blackberry aromas and flavors coupled with beautiful oak spice notes of nutmeg and cinnamon (from barrel aging). John added 22% of Cabernet Sauvignon to provide structure for age-ability; this beauty can easily lay down in your cellars for 10+ years. We believe the 2019 Cabernet Franc can be enjoyed young as well, especially if you like fresh, fruit-forward wines. John promises to make more. 78% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, only 40 cases remain after allocation.
