Each year John picks his favorite barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon to bottle as Founder’s Reserve. Named for JM’s original wine club launched in 2000, this wine is made in honor of JM’s original Founder’s Club members.  This special group of people purchased five years of futures of JM wine every five years.  Above all, this club offered John, Peggy and many JM team members incomparable value; twenty years of friendship and extraordinary memories.  The previous two vintages of Founder’s Reserve each received 93 and 94 point ratings.  With only seven barrels of this wine produced, the 2019 is made exclusively with Clone 169 of Cabernet Sauvignon from Quintessence Vineyard.  The 2019 Founder’s Reserve is dark, rich, and silky enough to savor now while showing enough tannin to ensure it can be cellared for 15+ years. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
