No need to look further, our 2019 The Royal is the ultimate wine for the upcoming fall season! Comprised of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from renowned Stillwater Creek vineyard, this medium bodied, deep ruby colored wine features aromas of dark cherries, star anise and a hint of s'mores. John fermented the 2019 Royal using the same techniques as the first vintage in 2018, by hand picking, hand sorting and whole berry fermenting in french oak tanks. The 2019 vintage was aged in 60% new french oak, 40% once used barrels for 24 months. With silky tannins and black and cranberry fruit flavors this wine is the absolute perfect accompaniment to fall and winter comfort foods like seasonal vegetables, soups, rotisserie chicken and the ultimate - chicken pot pie. While easy to pair with food, this wine is sure to be a new "fireplace" red too - easy to drink while cozied up next to the fire. Enjoy!
