Tasting Notes
John and Tommy started the JM Pinot Noir project in 2020 through Tommy’s Napa network. They were able to secure two acres of Pinot Noir grapes from one of the top Pinot vineyards in the esteemed Sonoma Coast appellation. The vineyard is named “Doña Margarita” and the Pinot Noir clone is Pommard. If you liked the 2022 Reserve Pinot, you’ll absolutely love this one!
Elegant strawberry notes and a crisp minerality characterize this Pinot Noir fermented and aged in an Italian clay amphora. With this wine our imaginations can wander to some of the earliest wines crafted in clay vessels, and yet the experience is fresh and refined- Old World meets New World. Our amphora wines always sell out quickly so grab it while you can!
