Tasting Notes

Our 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret’s Vineyard showcases the very best of our Milton-Freewater site. Rich, black fruit fermented in large French oak casks and aged in predominantly new French oak barrels is a tribute to the extraordinary tradition of grape growing in the Walla Walla Valley and the vineyard’s namesake, our beloved Peggy Bigelow. Grown and ripened to perfection at an elevation of 1200ft in windblown glacial loess, vines produce fruit with complexity and excellent minerality. We are proud of our incredible vineyard team led by Sadie Drury of North Slope Management and celebrate our Margaret’s Vineyard certifications of SalmonSafe and SustainableWA.
