2015 Petit Verdot

We need a hot year to ripen Petit Verdot if planning for a single varietal bottling; Mother Nature gave us the hottest vintage on record in 2015. We bottled 190 cases of 2015 Petit Verdot showing a beautiful balance between acid, alcohol and tannin. 50% of the Petit Verdot comes from Margaret’s Vineyard and 50% comes from Stillwater Creek Vineyard. It is rare to find this grape shown on its own, but we think you will see why we bottled it alone.♡

2016 Cabernet Sauvignon - Margaret's Vineyard

This is the first Cabernet Sauvignon we have made from 100% fruit from our estate vineyard. Juicy with fine tannins, the 2016 Margaret’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is drinkable now but can age for ten or more years with excellent results.

2016 Longevity

A blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon from The Benches (JM’s Stilleto Block) and Stillwater Creek Vineyard, 26% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot both from Stillwater Creek Vineyard, this wine full of dark cherry flavors was in new French oak for twenty-two months adding oak spice notes and a smooth, creamy mouth feel. Consistently a wine club favorite, the name Longevity pertains to many things, a few being, this wine will age for a long time (15 to 20+ years), it’s showing a deep long finish and most importantly, if you drink a glass a day, plan for a longer, fuller life! Only 32 cases remain after wine club allocations are fulfilled. Enjoy!

2016 Louisa

JM’s 2016 vintage of Louisa is a blend of 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc made exclusively with Margaret’s Vineyard fruit. This wine shows big rich cherry flavors with soft tannins and a lengthy finish. Only 279 cases produced. Enjoy!

2016 Malbec

A blend of 80% Malbec, 20% Petit Verdot, we believe we have found a notable location to grow Malbec; 1,300 feet above the Walla Walla valley in Margaret’s Vineyard. The vines are twelve years old and producing rich, delicious Malbec with notes of dark fruit and white pepper which reminds us of high-altitude Argentinian Malbec. Great with smokey grilled meats and vegetables, especially eggplant. Another wine-club-only wine with only 20 cases remaining after allocations have been filled.

This Bordeaux-style red blend is made with fruit sourced exclusively from our estate vineyard in Walla Walla. 2016 Nietos

Named to honor our partners Mike and Jackie Bezos who have eleven nietos (Spanish for grandchildren), this wine has become one of John's personal favorites to create. 54% Mourvèdre and 46% Syrah, this wine features Stillwater Creek Vineyard fruit. We also added a touch of Boushey Syrah which adds savory notes to the finished wine. Fine tannins contribute to its lingering finish.

2016 Syrah (Columbia Valley)

Each year we make two different Syrahs and this is the second of the 2016 vintage. A blend of two great Syrah vineyards; Champoux and Klipsun. Smooth, silky and full of dark fruit flavors, this one is a favorite.


Champoux Vineyard produces grapes that consistently show saturated flavors and an excellent balance between acid and sugar. When we tell those who are familiar with the vineyard that we sourced Syrah from Champoux, we’re typically met with a quizzical look and the question, “I didn’t know Champoux grew Syrah?” Only a 2.5 acre block of Syrah was planted high on the hill above the Cab blocks; JM is fortunate to source all of it. We think you will see why we are so excited about this Syrah when you taste it.

2017 Carménère

This is always one of our favorite wines to release. Carménère is a unique grape with notes of black pepper that can be tasted when the grape is still fruit on the vine. John blended 15% clone six Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret’s Vineyard with the Carménère to offer a smooth, long finish and classic black cherry flavors to the wine. The Carménère was grown in Margaret’s Vineyard and Seven Hills Vineyard.
